A. Flat's surroundings

There are many tourists attractions around the flat, which you can easily reach on foot. All of them are parks and natural spaces that have no opening hours and can be visited throughout the day, except the Aromatic Park, which is being closed for the night. Here’s a short list of place worth seeing in the nearest surroundings: 

 

And, of course, only 350 meters from the flat there’s the beach. As we’ve mentioned before, it spreads for kilometres towards Guardarmar del Segura. Along the beach, to the centre of La Mata there is a wooden path, where you can go jogging or take a walk with baby strollers.

 

B. The city of Torrevieja

Torrevieja’s city centre has also several tourist attractions. You can check them out on the following website:

We recommend a visit to the floating museums (submarine Delfín y patrol boat Albatros), as well as those dedicate to the salt industry. And don’t forget the Aquapark Flamingo nor the traditional festival Habaneras, which takes place at the end of July.

On the bookshelves in the living room, we have a folder with a label “Turismo Torrevieja”. Inside, you will find more information about tourism attractions in the city. If you find one, which we don’t have, do us a favour and leave it in the folder.

C. In the surrounding cities

Not far away from Torrevieja, there are many interesting cities from the touristic point of view (Elche, Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante, etc.). Each of them is worth at least a one day long visit. These cities can be reached easily by bus with “Costa Azul” - https://www.costazul.net/ Pay special attention to the Tabarca Island in Alicante, to which excursions are organized every day during summer. Ask about it in the Tourist Information Point of Alicante.

We have grouped them by provinces, so there is a folder for each province, containing a portfolio of the tourist attractions from each city. For example, in the folder called “Turismo Alicante” you’ll find information about Alicante, Elche and others. Please try not to mix them while using the folders.
