How do we find the flat when we arrive?

If the last person who stayed in the flat did his/her duties, you should find the house as follows:

·         Window blinds closed,

·         All appliances unplugged (except the fridge if there’s food in it),

·         The gas cylinder secured (it’s under the sink),

·         The water heater unplugged (it’s in the pantry).

It is also possible that you find bed linen of the previous tenant in the laundry basket above the washing machine (in the pantry).

Therefore, after your arrival, you have to:

-       Open window blinds (if you want, of course J);

-       Plug in the appliances and the water heater;

-       Deactivate the safety catch of the gas cylinder. The kitchen works on gas cylinders. The orange cylinder is under the sink and, as a safety measure, it has a safety catch in its upper part. You have to deactivate it before using the stove (and activate it back again before leaving the flat when you return home). Activating and deactivating it is very simple, you just have to move the flap that is located on the top of the cylinder.

What to do before leaving the flat?

Please, leave the flat as you would like to find it upon your arrival. For that reason we kindly ask you:

-            To clean the flat before you go,

-            To wash and dry the bed linen you have used; in case you don’t have time for it before going, leave it in the laundry basket.

-           To activate the safety catch of the gas cylinder (it’s under the sink)

-           To unplug all appliances (except the fridge),

-           To turn off the water heater (it’s in the pantry),

-           To close the window blinds,

-           To lock the door.
